As a landmark conservation project under the Nan Fung Group, The Mills Fabrica has been dedicated to nurturing local creativity through its three pillars: Nan Fung Store Hall, CHAT Mills Fabrica and The Mills Fabrica. Entering its seventh year, The Mills Fabrica further strengthens its role as a 'local creative engine', promoting the development of Hong Kong's creative industries and becoming a cradle for inspiring a new generation of creators, bringing more possibilities to the community.
With the upcoming Horse Year, The Mills Fabrica has meticulously planned a series of innovative and fun activities to bring laughter and joy to the new year. The newly established physical variety platform, 'Play Together', founded by the team of the popular online show 'Try Play Hair', will present a new spring project called 'Play Together x The Mills Fabrica: New Spring Opening'. This project will gather thousands of participants for the first large-scale public variety game project in Hong Kong, featuring three classic games, including the 'Hong Kong Rock, Paper, Scissors Championship' as the opening act, followed by a mysterious
duel, and a finale Easter egg game, creating the most unforgettable Hong Kong-style festive memories! Two themed markets will also make their debut — 'Small Sure Happiness to Defend the Spiritual Village' gathers experts and quality products for the mind, body, and soul to help you cleanse your spirit; while the 'Traffic Honey Horse Chinese New Year Market' offers a range of unique festive products to help you bid farewell to the old and usher in the new, collecting good luck! The master of seal engraving, Lo Wing-kei, former owner of the well-known Tsuen Wan calligraphy shop 'Yau Yin Tang', which closed in 2024, will also be present to demonstrate his calligraphy skills. A special 'Woof Woof Chinese New Year Poon Choi Dinner' will be held for our furry friends, allowing you to enjoy the traditional Poon Choi with your beloved pets in style. Lastly, don't forget to visit the newly launched 'The Mills Fabrica Mural Gallery' to appreciate the intricate details and urban landscapes depicted in the artworks and capture memorable moments to welcome the new spring.
Play Together: Hong Kong's First Physical Variety Project Featuring a Thousand-Player Game
The hit online game show 'Try Play Hair' and its spin-off, 'Squid Game', have become the talk of the town. Recently, the former 'Try Play Hair' team announced the establishment of a new platform called 'Play Together', which will collaborate with The Mills Fabrica to launch the new spring project 'Play Together x The Mills Fabrica: New Spring Opening'. The Mills Fabrica will transform into a giant competitive stage, creatively reimagining a range of classic Hong Kong-style games that evoke collective memories. All 'viewers at home' can become players, joining in the fun and laughter to celebrate the new spring!
The 'New Spring Opening' game project kicks off with the '1st Hong Kong Rock, Paper, Scissors Championship' from February 7-8, where 'Play Together' partners with the 'Hong Kong Rock, Paper, Scissors Association', founded by celebrity Lin Tsz Fung (Stone). Over a thousand participants will take turns guessing rock, paper, scissors, vying for the champion seat. The winner will also compete against Stone and a mystery guest in a celebrity match! Following this, on Valentine's Day weekend (February 14-15), a mysterious game will be held for a hundred players; and in March, an ultimate Easter egg game will be unveiled, with details to be announced later, so stay tuned! Each participant will also receive a HK$90 The Mills Fabrica electronic coupon and a limited-edition commemorative T-shirt.
Players, get ready and gather your friends to warm up for an exciting, interactive, entertaining, and competitive new spring experience!

Two Themed Markets: Cleanse Your Mind, Body, and Soul to Welcome the Horse Year
According to traditional customs, the 28th day of the twelfth lunar month is for 'washing away dirt'. Besides cleaning our homes, we should also purify our mind, body, and soul to embrace the new year with good fortune. From January 30 to February 1, The Mills Fabrica collaborates with Freeture Concept and Little Sure Buddha to present the 'Little Sure Buddha's Defense of the Spiritual Village' market, gathering a variety of mind, body, and soul products and workshops, including tarot, astrology, Chinese metaphysics, aura photography, vegan desserts, aromatic products, essential oils, and sacred woods. All these elements will help you explore your energy and build a strong spiritual foundation.
Highlight attractions include 'Tree Shop', a book and product selection by singer Serrini; popular fortune-teller 'Internet Celebrity Mumu (@mumu_oona)' and Venus (@avenustoto) offering on-site tarot readings and fortune-telling; and 'Typing.jpg Loading...' teaching magical handwritten cards, infusing the new year with positive energy and inspiring new ideas.
Following this, from February 14 to 22, the 'Traffic Honey Chinese New Year Market' will make its grand debut, featuring a variety of carefully selected shops offering an array of festive goodies — from handmade desserts and handwritten spring couplets to creative Chinese New Year products. 'Treble Coffee', managed by celebrity Jim Yan and GREEN HOUSE, will warm visitors with rich coffee and offer coffee cups and limited-edition spring couplets. The popular dessert shop 'Mochi Bird' will present Dubai pistachio chocolate mochi for the new year;桂儀 (Abbierain)'s popular online shops 'Grandma's Variety Store' and 'Grandma's Coffee House' will offer a range of unique products; Hugh Cheung and TEEMTONEfai will create exclusive products; and from February 21 to 22, 'Mary', together with 'Love Adoption', 'Home for the Wanderers', and 'Love Dog Alliance', will host a Chinese New Year Dog Adoption Day to find warm homes for stray dogs, bringing happiness to the Horse Year.
On February 14 and 15, Ho Pui and Chan Hung-cheung will present a Valentine's Day limited live performance. During the performance, they will also write spring couplets with their fans to welcome the romantic new spring together!
